Bani Abidi, Iftikhar Dadi and Rashid Rana - Where Three Dreams Cross

  Bani Abidi, Iftikhar Dadi and Rashid Rana are some of the 70 artists showing in 'Where Three Dreams Cross: 150 years of Photograph from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh', an exhibition of historic and contemporary photography from the subcontinen organized by the Whitechapel Gallery, London.

Hammad Nasar of Green Cardamon, is also one of the co-curators, the curatorial team consisting of Sunil Gupta, Shahidul Alam, Radhika Singh and Kirsty Ogg.

This landmark exhibition explores culture and modernity through the lens of photographers from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. Images on show range from the earliest days of photography in 1860 to the present day. Seminal works from two of the most important collections of historic photography, the Alkazi Collection in Delhi and the Drik Collection in Bangladesh, join previously unseen images from private family archives and works by leading contemporary artists such as Pushpamala and Dayanita Singh.

A programme of talks and a symposium are scheduled as part of this exhibition, developed in association with Green Cardamom.
