  Nusra Latif Qureshi is one of a group of artists trained at the National College of Arts, Lahore, who are attracting increasing critical interest as representing a contemporary movement in miniature painting. Qureshi combines the images and practices of Mughal era miniature painting with contemporary materials and imagery, and while her work speaks of finely honed draftsmanship and a mastery of century-old painting techniques, its content offers post-modern musings on feminism, imperialism and the manipulation of history and memory.
